Any drink can be made to taste good. Or feel nutritious. But how many drinks tell a story?
Because when companies get together and dole out a drink to the parched populace, it’s practicality. But when
history and geography conspire to make a drink favoured through the ages, that’s destiny.
A culmination of efforts. Modified through trial and error. Perfected with every passing
age. From a king’s royal cook to a soldier’s flask to a peace offering made by warring clans to a mother
conjuring something special for her son’s return to a grand celebration of harvest. Everyone had something
to contribute. And it’s their additions(and subtractions) that ultimately made their way into food carts in
village fairs. And while we’ve all experienced the joy of tasting these drinks at these carts at one point or the
other, we’ve also experienced the often awful gastronomical aftermath of these little joys.
Our inspiration lies in emulating these tastes and experiences standing tall on a benchmark of hygiene and
safety. Getting the good moments out to you while avoiding the unpleasant bits.
So go on ahead, make new memories. We’ll watch your back.
Behind every successful drink, is a memory and
behind every successful company, there are
the values like the ones Dadi taught you!
“We exist to make our consumers’ lives better and strive to go
beyond their foods & beverages needs through our products & experiences”
“We build a collaborative, high performance environment
by recognizing outcomes to fuel growth”
“We are passionate about continuously improving everything we do
by being curious, seeking knowledge and implementing change”

History is basically a collective memory of a people. And we realize that history is a sum of parts.
And some of those parts are delicious. It all began when four guys who were history buffs (and
beverage buffs!) sat down to have lunch on a hot Indian summer. They would always share their
lunch and one of them would always bring a flask of delicious homemade Aam Panna with him.
Among the four of these history (and beverage!) enthusiasts, one came from a faraway land-
A land of bald eagles, of bowls that are super and of cars that are Nas. He is quickly taken to the
idea of commercializing this raw mango ale.
"I want to commercialize this raw mango ale", says the man from the far away, hitherto
unknown land. "Aye!" the remaining trio heartily agree. "Woof!" goes the company dog who
the narrator of this tale forgot to mention until now.
So where do we produce thousands and thousands and thousands and thousands...
Shankar Mahadevan's Breathless amounts of this ale?
"Amidst the serene landscapes of Haryana, Manesar!" said young Kakkar
Cut the ribbon, Create the drink! Manesar Plant in 2011 was inaugurated. It symbolized a
commitment to preserving and sharing traditional Indian drinks with a global audience.
From the first batch brewed to perfection, it was clear that this plant would be more than
just a production site- it would be a testament to Paper Boat's journey of innovation and
nostalgia.
We put our great boat (Paper Boat) out into the water and launch our range of
traditional drinks in major cities. Would it work? Would people like it? Is Gangnam
Style still a thing? All three questions were a yes and aam-the-ras is history!
Soon enough, our melting pot of memories needed a helping hand- a new sibling to
our Manesar plant! We established a sparkling new plant in Mysuru, Karnataka. As we
set the first stone, we proudly declared, “Here, let the memories always flow!”
After 3 years of steady sailing with our drinks, we thought it was time to sing a new song
and thus the very first and delicious Paper Boat bite was born- Paper Boat chikki!
On one particularly long train journey, we figured out that some things are best shared
and top of that list is juice! We launched a new way to indulge and share the fun of fruit
with Paper Boat Swing in six fan-favourite flavours in packs perfect for sharing!
After repeatedly catching our chefs snacking on the ingredients of our dry fruit chikki-
we had a brain wave. Why not add dry fruits to our party? (Undeniable proof that
sometimes the chicken comes before the egg!) So we introduced smart trail mixes like
Absolute Health along with a range of eclectic flavours like Wayanad Pepper and
Himalayan Pink Salt.
After growing wary of mentally counting calories at every step of the day, be it our
evening chai or a drink with friends, we reached out to our in-house brainiacs for a
solution. They stepped up and cracked the code to lighten up! Thus came Zero Sugar
Sparkling Water- a range of sweet drinks with zero sugar and no calories, just sparkly fun!
In 2024, we set out on a wild mission—can you sip and snack at the same time? Challenge accepted!
Team Paper Boat proudly presents our Nata de Coco range: part chewy, part sippy, totally snacky.
It's a drink you can eat—how cool is that?
